Thai home cooking with Maew (part 1)
Maew was one of my workshop students. She offered to teach me how to cook some of her favorite Thai dishes, so we went to Muang Mai market in the early morning to buy all the ingredients. This market is the main wholesale area for fresh produce in Chiang Mai. There were a lot of small stalls, permanent shops and pick up trucks.
We got a female blue crab and a lot of shrimps.
I had no idea what kind of chili should I buy for the curry paste.
